On June 14, the Opening Ceremony of the Shenzhen City Photography Exhibition & Shenzhen Youth Chinese Traditional Realistic Painting Exhibition was held at Riccarton Park Event Centre. Mr. Chen Qinglan,Executive Vice President of Shenzhen International Culture Association, Hon. Lianne Dalziel, Mayor of Christchurch and Deputy Consul-General Li Xin together with nearly 80 guests attended the ceremony.
In his address, Deputy Consul General Li expressedhis heartfelt congratulations to the opening of the exhibition. He said that Shenzhen was the window to China's reform and opening-up as well as the capital of the innovation, Christchurch also showed unique resilience and innovation in rebuilt, there would be great potential in mutual cooperation. The exhibition displayed the fascination of Shenzhen, which would deepen the understanding of Shenzhen's development and construction and enhance the friendship between the peoples of two cities.
Hon. Lianne Dalzieland Mr. Chen Qinglanalso gave speech at the event, both appreciated the exhibition positively.
