2020-10-29 09:13

Starting from January 1, 2021, the Chinese Consulate General in Christchurch will no longer accept bank cheques or any other kinds of cheques to pay consular fees. Instead, online banking transfer is accepted. The Consulate General's account information is as follows:

Account number: 06-0665-0531447-00

Bank: ANZ Bank

Please include the following reference details:

Particulars: applicant's name

Code: applicant's Pick-up Form number (if applicable) or passport number

Reference: type of the document such as passport, visa, notarization, legalization

Completion of these fields is compulsory, which enables the Consulate General to allocate the payment to the correct applicants.

If an application is submitted to the consular office in person, and the passport or document is required to be returned by courier package or envelope, then a fully addressed and paid package or envelope is to be submitted at the same time. In this case, the NZ$ 15 service fee will NOT be charged.

The following payment methods remain in use on collection at the counter:

Credit card (Visa and Master Card only), EFTPOS, WeChat Pay and AliPay.
