Consul General Jin Visits Queenstown to Bid Farewell

On 24th August, Consul General Jin Zhijian paid a farewell call on Mayor Jim Boult. He expressed thanks to Mayor Boult and Queenstown District Council for their valuable support to the Chinese Consulate General and himself throughout the years. He said that in recent years, the cooperations between China and Queenstown keep deepening with closer sister-city relations and more active economic and trade exchanges. More and more Chinese visitors have been in Queenstown with a good memory. The Chinese Consulate General values the friendship with Queenstown and hopes for a better future of bilateral cooperation.

Mayor Boult spoke highly of Consul General Jin’s remarkable contributions to the promotion of friendly relations between China and Queenstown during his term and felt regretful for his departure, hoping to continue cooperating with the Chinese Consulate General to push forward bilateral relations.

During his visit to Queenstown, Consul General Jin also met with old friends from the local business circle and the Chinese community.
